Maxim Lando made his New York City debut at age 6 on the critically acclaimed Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players series. He has been invited to return as a Guest Artist for the past seven seasons. At age 11, Maxim entered the Juilliard Pre-College and became a Lang Lang Young Scholar, receiving mentorship from celebrity pianist Lang Lang and support from his International Foundation. He is currently an Artemisia Akademie Fellow at Yale University. He studies with Hung-Kuan Chen and Tema Blackstone at Juilliard Pre-College.

In the past two years, Maxim’s solo and chamber concerts have brought him to concert halls in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, England, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Russia, China, Canada, and throughout the United States. He has performed together with Lang Lang on WQXR Radio and the 69th Anniversary United Nations Day Concert at the United Nations Headquarters. He has performed concertos with the Russian National Orchestra, Lerman Chamber Orchestra, Kazakh State Philharmonic, Philharmonic Orchestra of the University of Alicante, New York Wind Orchestra, among others. Recent notable performances include concerts at the National Center for Performing Arts in Beijing; Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris; Forte Music Fest in Almaty, Kazakhstan; the Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park in Chicago as part of the 2015 Grant Park Summer Classical Concert Series; the Ravinia Festival in Chicago; the Kissinger Sommer Festival in Germany; and the International Music Festival in Dinard, France.

In 2015 Maxim was awarded First Prize at the 16th International Television Contest for Young Musicians “Nutcracker” in Moscow, Russia; and Second Prize at the Kissinger Klavier Olymp in Germany
