Annual gala concert of the Musical Olympus Festival took place in Carnegie Hall (New York) on March 3, 2013. This seventh addition of the Musical Olympus Foundation introduced the best modern classical music performers, winners of prestigious contests and participants of the annual Musical Olympus Festival in St. Petersburg.
This April exceptional Cuban musician and composer Roberto Fonseca described by the Western music critics as “the man has soul” will present his new album “YO” and a concert program with the same name to the Russian audience. The performance of Roberto Fonseca in Russia is organized by the Musical Olympus Foundation for the third time and will take place on April, 15 at the St Petersburg Music Hall Theatre and on April, 16 at the Moscow Club “Reka”.
The Musical Olympus Foundation project ‘Music as a universal language of mankind’ became the best in the nomination ‘Culture’ of the International Silver Archer Award (USA). The prestigious award in the sphere of international public relations is a competent recognition of the Foundation relevant activity that will contribute to a successful implementation of the Musical Olympus projects in the future.
At its seventh gala concert in New York the Musical Olympus Foundation will introduce to the audience the winners of prestigious international musical competitions and the participants of the Musical Olympus Festival.
A unique music event will take place in November 2013 in Moscow. The Musical Olympus Foundation brings the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra with Christian Thielemann as a conductor to the capital, where the orchestra will perform a series of concerts. In 4 concerts of the cycle all 9 symphonies of Ludwig van Beethoven will be played.
On October 14 concert and presentation of the Musical Olympus International Festival took place at the Tonhalle Concert Hall in Zurich.
